Meet Stacy Aguilar
Founder & Owner
Stacy launched Abby’s Animal Sitters & Dog Walkers, LLC in 2017 to provide stress-free, reliable, and loving pet care for busy pet parents. What started as a solo venture quickly became a trusted, award-winning business, completing 7,500 pet care visits in 2024 with a 99% Happiness Score from clients.
A Temple University graduate with a background in Public Relations and Marketing, Stacy ensures her team is Fear Free Certified, background-checked, and equipped with GPS police body cameras for safety and transparency.
She is an active member of the Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce, Washington Township Chamber of Commerce, and BNI (Business Network International), strengthening community and business connections.
When not managing her growing business, Stacy enjoys time with her husband, Gilbert (Gil), and their daughters, Abby and Sophia.
At Abby’s Animal Sitters & Dog Walkers, LLC, Stacy’s mission is simple: treat every pet like family, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and loved.
Meet Abby
Seasonal Pet Care Technician
Abby is the namesake of our business and has been working with animals in our business since 2017. She has a special gift for connecting with even the most shy or cautious pets, earning their trust with her gentle personality and calm energy. She is Fear Free Certified and dedicated to making every pet feel safe and comfortable in our care.
During the school year, Abby lives at Temple University, where she is studying to become a graphic designer. She’s home on weekends and during the summer months. When she’s not at school or caring for pets, she enjoys traveling and drawing. At home, she loves spending time with her dog, Bentley.
Meet Sophia
Seasonal Pet Care Technician & Logistics Specialist
Sophia has been working with animals in our business since 2017. As a seasonal pet care technician, she brings a fun, energetic approach to pet care, always ready to run and play with the dogs. Behind the scenes, she also plays a key role as a logistics specialist, handling mapping staff appointments to ensure everything runs smoothly for our team and clients.
Sophia is a talented actress, singer, bass guitarist, and keyboardist. She plays in a band called Man Syndrome and is passionate about the arts. Currently studying Drama at GCIT, she plans to pursue Radio, Television, and Film at Temple University after graduation in 2026.
At home, she loves spending time with her dog, Bentley, and bringing her creativity to everything she does.
Meet Donna
Office/Social Media Manager
Donna has 25 years of experience in the financial industry as an Assistant Vice President in Asset-Based Lending, a Residential Mortgage Lender, and a Bank Manager. Donna has always been passionate about helping people. In 2015, this passion extended to the local community through volunteering with the local PTO, where Donna served as President for four years. From there, Donna became a co-leader of a Girl Scout troop, where she met Stacy, and together formed an unstoppable team.
However, Donna’s true love for animals began in childhood and has only deepened over time. Today, Donna cares for nine cats, including ferals, and dedicates her time to ensuring animals receive the care and attention they deserve. Whether in business, volunteering, or pet care volunteering, Donna’s goal remains simple: to provide prompt, friendly, and warm service that leaves people feeling valued and special.
Meet Jennifer
Pet Care Technician
Meet Jennifer, a resident of Washington Township, who shares her home with her loving husband, Ron, as well as her two energetic sons. Her furry companions, Dunkin and Daisy, add an extra layer of joy to their household.
Jennifer brings a wealth of experience to our team, having owned and operated a successful commercial cleaning company for an impressive 15 years. Her entrepreneurial background is a testament to her strong work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional service, making her a valuable asset to our organization.
Growing up, Jennifer was always surrounded by a diverse array of cats and dogs, instilling in her a profound appreciation for the irreplaceable presence of pets in her life. She possesses extensive knowledge in administering medications and training dogs in basic commands.
When Jennifer isn’t actively engaged in her professional endeavors, she can be found on the baseball or soccer field, wholeheartedly supporting her boys’ athletic pursuits. Additionally, she actively contributes to their school community as a devoted member of the school PTO board and a caring room mom for both of her sons. Recognizing the importance of being involved in their formative years, Jennifer strives to embrace every opportunity to create cherished memories alongside her children.
Enthusiastically joining Abby’s Animal Sitters & Dog Walkers team, Jennifer eagerly looks forward to caring for your beloved pets and showering them with abundant love and attention. Your furry companions will be in capable hands, as Jennifer’s exceptional skills and compassionate nature ensure their well-being is her top priority.
Meet Tara
Pet Care Technician
Tara, originally from Deptford, settled in Washington Township in 2015. She resides with her husband and their cherished rescue pittie, Roxy. Balancing her career in administrative roles with her passion for pet sitting since 2012, Tara has long nurtured her love for animals.
She transitioned to fully pursue this passion, solidifying her commitment to animal welfare. Tara takes great pride in providing exceptional care for your beloved pets. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking with her husband, alongside precious moments snuggled up with Roxy on the couch.
Tara recently achieve her Fear Free Pet Sitter Cerification, a program offered by the Fear Free Pets organization aimed at educating and certifying pet sitters in minimizing fear, anxiety, and stress in pets.
Meet Maryann
Pet Care Technician
Maryann first came to Abby’s Animal Sitters & Dog Walkers as a client, trusting us to care for her own pups for several years. Impressed by our organization and dedication, she decided to turn her passion for animals into a career and join the team!
A devoted dog mom to Buddy, Zoey, and Presley, Maryann also spends her weekends volunteering at MatchDog Rescue, helping pups find their forever homes.
Originally from South Philadelphia, she has called South Jersey home since 1999 and now lives in Sicklerville with her husband, Greg. When she’s not caring for pets, she loves music, reading, and writing. She has a 25 year background in corporate communications. She is also a proud alumni of Temple University. 🦉
Maryann insists she’s never met a dog she doesn’t love on sight—and we believe her! We’re so excited to have her as part of the Abby’s Animal Sitters & Dog Walkers family.
Meet Laura
Pet Care Technician
Laura brings a lifelong love of animals to Abby’s Animal Sitters & Dog Walkers. Growing up in a home filled with pets, she developed a deep appreciation for their companionship and care. Today, her own animal family includes two dogs, a cat, and two geckos—each bringing joy to her household.
In addition to her passion for animals, Laura has been an elementary school teacher in Gloucester Township for over 20 years. As a dedicated educator, wife, and proud mom to four children (ages 13 to 20), she understands the importance of responsibility, patience, and trust—qualities she brings to every pet she cares for. She also fosters many animals.
Laura treats every pet as if they were her own, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well cared for in their owner’s absence. She is thrilled to be part of the Abby’s Animal Sitters & Dog Walkers team and looks forward to meeting new furry (and scaly!) friends along the way.

Hi! My name is Laura. I grew up in Washington Township and now live in Williamstown with my husband, Zach, and our daughter, Brooke. I’ve always loved animals and currently have two dogs, Remi and Ember, who are truly part of our family. I work full time in the banking industry and pet sit during nights and weekends.
In my spare time, I enjoy finding fun activities to do together as a family. I love to read and, whenever possible, I enjoy going on vacation with my family & friends.
Meet Denise
Pet Care Technician
Hi, my name is Denise. I have lived in NJ since 2014, originally residing in PA most of my life. I graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Wildlife Biology and have always loved the outdoors, whether its hiking, gardening, bird watching, walking my dog or just spending time at the shore. I spent most of my career in Environmental Education and in the summer I work as a Nature Specialist for a summer camp in Medford, NJ. I currently reside in Washington Twp with my husband, 2 kids, and menagerie of furry animals, who keep me quite busy.
